No file handy?

Only use it on videos and photos you made or have the right to edit. AI-generated media can also carry invisible watermarks such as SynthID; this tool does not touch them, so keep labelling AI content where platforms or laws ask for it. See-through logos are restored mathematically; any fully opaque part is filled in from its surroundings.

Fitted to your image

Drop in a Gemini image and ClearFrame finds the sparkle in the corner and fits its exact place, size, sharpness and strength to your picture. There is nothing to draw and nothing to select, and it takes seconds.

Reversed, not painted over

The sparkle is see-through, so the picture underneath is still there. ClearFrame reverses the sparkle on each colour channel instead of blurring the corner or inventing new pixels, so the detail next to it stays exactly as it was. Why that beats blur or crop.

No quality loss

The image keeps its exact dimensions. A PNG is saved losslessly, a JPG at 95% quality, and a WebP comes back as a PNG. Add one image or a whole folder; everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

How to remove the Gemini watermark from an image

  1. 1

    Add your images

Drag PNG, JPG or WebP images onto the page, or choose files or a whole folder.

  2. 2

    Let it fit the sparkle

The sparkle is found in the corner, and its exact place, size, sharpness and strength are fitted to your image. Cleaning starts by itself; there is nothing to draw.

  3. 3

    Check the result

Slide the Compare line over the corner and zoom in to 2× or 4× on the spot where the sparkle was.

  4. 4

    Download

Download each clean image, or all of them together as one ZIP. The size stays the same and a PNG stays lossless.

Tips for the best result

  • Use the image exactly as Gemini gave it to you. A screenshot, or an image that has been re-saved as a small JPG, has a softer sparkle edge and a trace is more likely.
  • PNG gives the cleanest result because nothing is lost when it is saved again.
  • A photo has only one frame, so the sparkle cannot be learned over time; it is fitted from its known shape. That is fast, and very exact when the image is the original.
  • Zoom in to 2× or 4× on the corner before you download, and compare the two sides of the slider.
  • Several images from one session? Add them together; they are cleaned one after another.

Questions and fixes

What does it remove from a Gemini image?

The small four-pointed sparkle near the bottom-right corner that Gemini puts on generated images. It is white and partly see-through, and always the same shape.

How is the sparkle removed from a single picture?

A photo has only one frame, so there is nothing to learn the sparkle from over time. Instead ClearFrame starts from the sparkle’s known shape and fits its exact place, size, sharpness and strength to your image, then reverses it on each colour channel. The picture underneath comes back; nothing is painted over.

Which image types work, and what do I get back?

PNG, JPG and WebP. The image keeps its exact dimensions. A PNG is saved losslessly, a JPG is saved again at 95% quality, and a WebP comes back as a PNG so nothing is lost.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image is opened, cleaned and saved by your browser on your own device. It never reaches our servers.

Can I clean many images at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like, or a whole folder. They are cleaned one after another, and you can download them all as one ZIP.

What about Gemini and Veo videos?

Videos have their own pages: the Gemini Omni watermark remover for the sparkle in a Gemini video, and the Veo watermark remover for Veo clips.

Does it remove SynthID?

No. Only the visible sparkle is removed. Google’s invisible SynthID watermark is not touched, and many platforms still ask you to label AI-made images. See visible watermark vs SynthID.

It says “No logo found”.

The image may be clean already, or cropped so that the sparkle is outside it. The card shows the spot where it normally sits and asks “Is the logo here?”. Choose “Yes, remove it” if you can see it, or “Draw a box” around the place.

A faint trace of the sparkle is left.

A small, heavily compressed JPG can keep a faint trace because compression has already blurred the edge. Try the original image, ideally a PNG, and redo it after drawing a box around the sparkle.

Will my image get smaller or softer?

No. The image keeps its exact dimensions, and only the pixels inside the sparkle change. A PNG stays lossless and a JPG is saved again at 95% quality.

Why did my WebP come back as a PNG?

WebP images are saved as PNG so that nothing is lost. If you need WebP again, convert the PNG afterwards in any image editor.

Does it work on a screenshot of a Gemini image?

It can, but a screenshot has been resampled, which blurs the sparkle’s edge. For the cleanest result use the image you downloaded.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The image is opened, cleaned and saved by your browser on your own device and never reaches our servers.

Am I allowed to remove the watermark?

Only use ClearFrame on content you created or have the right to edit, and follow the terms of the service that generated it.

Removing the visible logo doesn’t change where the content came from. AI media also carries invisible watermarks such as Google’s SynthID, which ClearFrame does not remove, and many platforms and laws require AI-generated content to be labelled. Please keep doing that. See our Terms.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every tool is free, with no sign-up, no limit on how many files you clean and no watermark of ours added to your results.

ClearFrame is paid for by ads on the pages around the tools. Ads are never placed inside a tool or next to its buttons, and they never see your files, because your files never leave your device.

Is ClearFrame made by Google?

No. ClearFrame is an independent tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Gemini and Veo are trademarks of Google LLC, mentioned only to describe compatibility.
